Marble types:  Bianco is the classic Italian white marble. Statuario is a warmer and slightly translucent, and is traditionally used for fine statuary. Arabescato and Calacatta are variations on white marble, with heavy veining patterns. Bardiglio is gray marble from Carrara. Moca Cream and Vicenza are varieties of limestone.

These are some of types of marble which we use for our hand carved fireplaces. Since this is a natural material, every block is different. The variation makes the fireplace unique. We select the marble carefully, and cut it so the coloring and veining is aligned beautifully in each fireplace.
